| Service description |
Workspot, Inc. is a company that provides you with a Linux desktop that you can get to in many ways, including, but not limited to, a web browser. We are a Linux-based Application Service Provider (ASP). A Workspot server holds your data and runs the applications; you command the server and view the results from a thin client, such as a web browser. Our basic service is free and we think our services are best suited to the individual user or small group of users.
A Workspot (your Workspot!) integrates a Linux desktop with web-based email and a file manager to create a central place for you to work on the net. You can run pre-installed free software from an intuitive and simple interface on your Linux desktop, and soon you will be able to rent software from us. You can get to your Workspot in many ways - currently through a web browser, a native client and a palm vii.
Currently beta version. |

Please note: we are not taking more subscribers, because we are experiencing equipment failures at a high rate. If you are in the position to donate rackspace, or new servers, please contact us. |
